Established back in 2002, Hispec was initially a supplier of general electrical products but found success with our range of electronic transformers.

As our loyal customer base grew, mainly in part to our direct to wholesale approach, we began to develop a range of fluorescent lamps and luminaires that would later become a fully-fledged lighting portfolio.

After building a reputation as a major supplier of lighting and electrical products in the North West of England, we began to expand our sales team to cover the whole of the UK and Ireland.

This came during a time when LED lighting technology started to really take off and as a result, we experienced a period of fantastic growth. Throughout the following years we have built a product offering to suit a variety of applications such as commercial, domestic and industrial upgrades.

Moving forward into 2019 and beyond, we have strategically placed ourselves to grow the project and specification side of Hispec whilst continuing to develop our strong relationships.
